Reminisce Birthday

This is my latest favorite - The Reminisce Birthday Addition. What a great deal for $9.00 - and the paper goes with everything! You have to see it (and use it!) to believe it.
I've posted a card I made with left over papers. Not sure how I feel about the man-head coming out of the envelope, but it kind of grows on you after a while.

Cricut Cartridges
I don't know if you realize this or not, but Creative Memories now sells Cricut Cartridges. They are designed specifically for CM and are AMAZING. I recently broke-open my Reminisce Cartridge and started using it; it's UNBELIEVABLE how much stuff is one one cartridge - TWO different fonts and a ton of images (that can be 'layered') -- including borders and doilies (which are all the rage now). Here are some display boards that I got from another site which shows a sample of what's on each of the 3 different cartridges; they were put together and posted by PRJ. Love this idea and plan on doing something similar for my crops too.

whew !
Finally figured out how to post ! Woo-hoo! Now to figure out how to add pictures...
I thought I'd share some pictures from my recent obsessive search for a cute desk-top calendar.
I had these on display at my crop in January. I used Creative Memories Black & White Pallette
and Creative Memories cardstock as the base for the easel. I used a Vellum Expression for
the saying on the bottom (who knew that Tarzan was so prolific), and I used Creative Memories foam squares to add a 3D element to the flower embellishment. The pink calendar has a 3D type flower that I made by layering vellum 1-inch circles; I stuck a mini brad in the center to hold it together.
This is a side view so you can see how it sits on a flat surface.
